Finally finished the Unity Roll-A-Ball tutorial last week! This was such a great first tutorial. I learned about objects, physics, C#, text, and the very basics of materials.
If this project was to continue being developed, I would have built it around a fantasy theme of a mystical forest. For example, instead of a sphere the player would be a bird, the spinning purple cubes would be flowers in motion, and the green plane would be a 2D grass terrain. There would be interesting/creepy trees around the perimeter instead of white walls, and trees as obstacles, too. The text would be different as well. I would also want to play around with the lighting and definitely make it dimmed. The next step is learning all about materials, textures, and shaders. This is the area of Unity I'm most curious about. Stay tuned until next time! #HoloHacks is today!!
