The inspiration for this piece was a photograph of a sunset that got utterly distorted. Your flight getting delayed because of a "seat malfunction" and forcing you to spend a night at a hotel in Baltimore can be a good thing, right?
This particular piece is an early stage iteration for a print design project for Digital Printmaking (ART344). The triangles were created in Adobe Illustrator, and then filled with different sections of the distorted photograph. The original photograph is the second image. Mistakes really do make the best pieces of art.
